Working closely with weavers in Tamil Nadu, the brand seeks to revive the dying art of Jamakkalam weaving through collaborating with local artisans in the practice.

Jamakkalam, a type of woven fabric whose craft has been passed down through generations, recently faces a rapid decline due to lack of recognition, an increase in production costs, and the decline in the transmission to young weavers. The choice to preserve Jamakkalam is deeply personal, intertwined with societal, economic, and emotional considerations.
